Import buyer workflow
How to Order Custom Paper Cups from China: Step-by-Step Buyer Guide
A clear RFQ starts with the cup specification and ends with agreed QC, packing and shipment records. This sequence helps first-time importers compare offers on the same basis.
1. Define the cup
State size, actual capacity, rim, wall structure and PE, PLA or water-based barrier requirement.
2. Plan quantity
Plain or white MOQ starts at 50,000 pcs; custom print starts at 100,000 pcs. Identify mixed sizes or SKUs.
3. Prepare artwork
Provide logo, colors and coverage for flexographic or offset review. Up to 8 colors are available.
4. Confirm sample
Sample preparation takes approximately one week. Approve the sample and written specification before production.
5. Define QC
Agree production, leak, dimensional, printing and packing inspection points.
6. Confirm terms
Choose EXW, FOB Shanghai, FOB Ningbo or CIF and confirm destination port, packing and documents.
7. Plan loading and shipment
Calculate from carton sizes and SKU mix, then confirm loading arrangements and records. Use the container loading guide and shipping process.
